TIGA-340 VIDEO RESOURCE FILE (TIGA.VRS)
========================================
The TIGA.VRS (Video ReSource) file is currently compatible with the following
WordPerfect Corporation products: WordPerfect 5.1, DrawPerfect 1.0 and 1.1,
PlanPerfect 5.1, and LetterPerfect 1.0. However, the TIGA driver will not be
fully functional until you create an Absolute Load Module (.ALM file) from the
EXTPRIMS.RLM file that was shipped with your TIGA-compatible graphics card.
The MAKEALM.BAT file included with the TIGA.VRS file on the additional graphic
drivers diskette will automatically create the proper .ALM file for you. To
run it, simply do the following:
1) Use the CD command to change to the directory that contains
the TIGA files which were shipped with your graphics card.
2) Copy the MAKEALM.BAT file into the current directory.
3) Type MAKEALM at the DOS prompt.
Do not be alarmed if running the MAKEALM.BAT file causes strange things to
appear on your screen. Some TIGA-compatible graphics cards will be put into
graphics mode by the MAKEALM batch file, and will no longer display normal DOS
text. If this happens, simply reboot your computer to return your display to
its normal operating mode.
The TIGA-compatible cards currently supported by the TIGA.VRS driver are:
1) Desktop Computing: AGA1024
2) Hercules: Graphics Station Card
3) Infotronic: DTP 1280
4) Micro Display Systems: The Genius²
5) Number Nine: Graphics Xccelerator
6) Number Nine: PEPPER Pro1024
7) Number Nine: PEPPER Pro1280
8) Texas Instruments: SDB 10
9) Wyse: WY-7190
*** NOTICE: If you are using the Wyse WY-7190 video system, be sure to use
the NSCREEN utility to enable the 1024-line graphics mode before loading the
TIGA Communications Driver. To do this, include the following 2 lines in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
NSCREEN 1024
